SEIDOR Acquires Global Digital Transformation Specialist

Surrey, England – 15th September 2022: SEIDOR, a multinational consulting firm specialising in technology services and solutions, including SAP Business One and SAP Business ByDesign, has acquired a majority stake in Opentrends, a digital transformation company specialising in the development of cloud applications and customer experience solutions.

The acquisition strengthens SEIDOR’s capabilities in designing application architectures and transforming, developing and maintaining customised cloud and omnichannel environments.

With the addition of Opentrends, SEIDOR also enhances its expertise in adopting new technologies, such as artificial intelligence (IA) and the Internet of Things (IoT), and in areas such as smart cities and connected cars.

Opentrends, which has offices in Madrid, Barcelona, California and Kerala, India, specialises in working across the public sector and with large companies in sectors such as banking, automotive and education. In 2021, Opentrends recorded revenues of more than €50m.

SEIDOR will also incorporate the services of Opentrends’ digital agency, Failfast, which provides services around user experience (UX), graphic design and digital content.

The existing Opentrends management team will continue to lead the organisation, which will now have a team of more than 500 professionals.
