SEIDOR acquires Delsys to strengthen its capabilities in technology for the meat sector and collective catering.
- The technology consulting firm acquires the majority of Delsys, a company that has developed specialized software for the meat industry and the hospitality segment of collectivities.
- With the operation, SEIDOR expands its client portfolio, including sausage producers, central kitchens, and catering for hospitals, hotels, or schools.
- Under the new brand Delsys SEIDOR, the resulting company will retain the management team of the acquired company and integrate its staff of 26 professionals.
Barcelona, October 18, 2023. – SEIDOR, a consulting firm specializing in technology services and solutions, has acquired a majority stake in Delsys, a software and technology consulting company for the meat industry and collectivities. Before completing this operation, both companies had developed various projects together, implementing SAP systems with Delsys' specialized solutions.
With over 20 years of experience in the IT field, Delsys has a team of 26 professionals who have developed and implemented highly specialized IT solutions for the management, control, security, automation, and operational efficiency of the meat industry and collectivities.
In this way, with Delsys, SEIDOR increases its specific capabilities for cutting rooms or sausage producers, as well as for companies that manage central kitchens or provide catering services for hospitals, hotels, or schools.
After the acquisition, Delsys, based in Les Preses (Girona), will operate under the brand Delsys SEIDOR and will be led by David Mayà, the current CEO of Delsys, who will continue as a partner in the company.
In the words of Carlos Iribarren, director of SEIDOR One, the business unit that will manage these solutions, "the integration of Delsys will allow us to multiply synergies and fully exploit its experience and specialized knowledge in sectors such as meat or collectivities, with great potential for technological optimization growth. We also strengthen our capabilities as a manufacturer in the development of vertical solutions."
